Little Capricorn Co was created for mothers like me who are navigating the beautifully tumultuous transition from maiden to mother.

After a difficult journey involving loss and despair, our precious boy was born at Christmas time during the COVID pandemic. Little Capricorn Co was named after his zodiac sign, a determined a vigorous Earth sign, very fitting for our tiny master.

The moment you fall pregnant, you will be a new version of yourself. It takes time to get to know this new mama. Matrescence is the physical, emotional, hormonal and social transition to becoming a mother. This major shift, just like adolescence, is finally getting the air-time it deserves.

Mothers need to be cared for, and without the traditional 'village' of support to hold her, many are left feeling isolated and overwhelmed. I have totally felt this, and wish this upon no one.

While Little Capricorn Co isn't a pre-packaged village ready to be shipped out to your doorstep (shame!), the products do help to provide those micro-moments of care that can lift a mama's spirits and make her feel held.

Self-care is incredibly important, but for an overwhelmed and exhausted new mother with a billion tabs open in her brain, it may feel like yet another thing to add to the never-ending 'to-do' list. Being able to experience these micro-moments of luxury can help with riding each season of motherhood. Each product is carefully hand selected by me, and is kind to the body and the earth.
